Eva Felicitas Habermann (born January 16, 1976) is a German actress who has appeared in numerous films and TV series. She is best known for playing the role of Zev Bellringer in the television series Lexx. She was succeeded in her role by Xenia Seeberg.

There was a huge delay in production between Seasons 1 and 2, of Lexx , after Showtime decided to pass on helping to finance a second season. During this time, Eva didn't know whether or not there would ever be a second series, and when her contract expired, she needed to find another job. She signed on for a role on a German television show just days, I believe, before the Beans let her know that things were a "go" for the second season, and she had to make time in her schedule to shoot the 2 first episodes to provide some continuity.

Wolfgang Madadeus said that the only reason why he directed Der Witz before this movie was because he had the idea that this movie was less original. However, when it was released the film was called the most psychological originality in film history.

Both in the UK, US and in Germany the film had troubles with censuring. The UK wanted to edit several of the scenes of self-inflicted stabbings and psychological violence. The US had the idea that the film was too graphic for an R-rating however it was later appealed without cuts and Germany had the same problems with the UK. However, only the UK heavily censured the film.

Eva Habermann was 19 years old when she was making this film and said that acting in the film was more terryifing then seeing it.

Roman Polanski, who directs similar films like Festen Meer, called it the best thriller of 1994.

Back to the Lexx . The Lexx was a show about a very strange bunch of blokes and some strange women. The Characters are all damaged and obsessed . In this strange universe technology is also damaged and failing and there are few rules to go by.

The Lexx. One creepy thing is how it was played out that The Lexx and Stan always got on so well , this never changed and went right to the very end of season 4.
